So what are you guys using to get the residue off your paint, when you take factory decals off?

I'm wanting to change the badges on my dodge.

3M Adhesive remover.  Been a while since I've used it, but used to be in a red can.  It will remove pretty much everything but the paint.  You'll need to re-wax.

I always use lighter fluid in the yellow plastic container. It works well for everything from stickers off old CD cases to, stickers on quads, to decals on vehicles. Gets the residue and never mars the surface from plastic to paint. Plus you can get it anywhere: BiMart, Fred Meyer, etc...

I've taken decals off my Ford and 3 different jeeps with it...

All you really need is a heat gun, residue comes off with decals. When decal starts to wrinkle just gently pull at a 90 degree angle and decal addhesive and all comes off.    .02  8-)

NAHH, No bead sealer for me. I've never blown an inner bead with DYI beadlocks. I'll take my chances.
